I am extremely disappointed with the Peppermill's restaurant at the Best Western Hotel. I went on Saturday night to taste their Prime Rib. We were seated next to the fireplace which is the way to the restrooms. The receptionist could have assigned a much better table as there were few customers. Then it took at least 25+ minutes to get our breads that were over baked. We waited at least 45+ minutes to get our meal and take my word that it was dull dull dull. The mashed potatoes were under par and lacked taste and the zucchinis were under cook. I then noticed that my wine glass was cracked as the top and mentioned it to the waiter. He did not offer to change it and did not seem interested at all by the quality of their glassware. The price for me came to $60. SO OVERATED. This is my review 5/10 and I am being generous. I will not be returning even for the Sunday brunch and I will certainly not recommend the Best Western Hotel in Cornwall.I forgot to say that we had made a reservation but as we came in the receptionist could not find it though we even mentioned the name of the lady that had taken it by phone.
Overpriced, with brown lettuce and misleading wine special.. From where you sit you can see the Metro, you know the lettuce is green there and wont cost more than 5 bucks but for $19 you can get a Steak and Pepper Salad with ugly brown lettuce. They just have the lights down low in the hopes that you wont see it.
Waaay overpriced for what you got.
The wine special was for 8oz but they only served 5oz...real classy.
