Pearl Fever is a bubble tea chain in the metro Vancouver area. It isn’t as prominent as some of the others out there but they do have a few outlets. Pearl Fever offers milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies and tofu pudding. The location we visited on this occasion was in Burquitlam near the Ikea. Be careful. They add sugar to their powdered milk so if you order zero sugar you still get sugar. Very strange. I do not recommend this place.

A bit pricey, but for quality smoothies and bubble tea, its worth it.
I don't come to pearl fever often, but when I do, I usually get the BLACK TWIST. After trying many different flavors, I have to say BLACK TWIST is the absolute best. Its a mixture of oreo and espresso and it tastes amazing. This time however, I tried the fererro rocher and my friends got the coffee milk tea, and red bean. I definitely don't recommend ferrero rocher. It was way too sweet and tasted like chocolate milk. The servers were very nice and friendly. We took a long time to decide what we wanted to get and they didn't seem to mind. The menu is very flexible too. You're able to even create your own drink by substituting ingredients - the server told us he could make a real fruit kiwi smoothie if we wanted - no sugar added (it just wouldn't taste as good). Definitely one of my favorite bubble tea spots!!!
