The vibe was amazing! The food was so flavourful and filling! We booked our dinner for Winterlicious and it was just the perfect dinner set to try a little bit of what they had to offer! Our server Sean was very attentive during the dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely come again! As someone who has only had great experiences here I was very surprised with the quality of the food and the service I had during winterlicious. I was looking forward to trying new things on the menu (the jerk chicken chow mein would be my death row meal but I knew it was time to try something new), but what I experienced was subpar and frankly disappointing. The staff has always been attentive and friendly but tonight I felt both rushed and also unattended to. This has been a place I’ve always recommended but after my experience tonight I’m reconsidering it as a go-to spot in the city. The Hong Kong French toast has been one of my fave desserts but tonight it tasted like egg-y bread doused in oil. I hope this was just an off night due to the surge in because of winterlicious, because I don’t think it reflects what patois really has to offer. For the price ($100+ even after doing the promo), I would have rather stuck with the dishes I know are tried and true. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
