Just had the worst service at breakfast. The server was snotty and had the worst attitude. She did absolutely nothing to warrant a tip so she didn’t get one. Firstly, she was annoyed that my mom asked for hot coffee, and the server proceeded to spill it all over the table and only filled it half way. When my mom asked for more, she scoffed. Not a word said. Then someone else delivered our orders, with my moms not being correct. As the server continued to “serve” other tables all around us. She refused to come to our table anymore. We didn’t get water, no acknowledgment, nothing. We may as well been eating at the mall food court. Finally I had to go to the desk to ask for take out containers myself. I told the other server what terrible service we experienced and she seemed less than caring. Our “server” overheard and as I walked away the two of them started to laugh and mock. I don’t know why this establishment keeps hiring servers who obviously do not care about their jobs. Avoid at all costs and support somewhere that actually has service. The dining room was little bit colder. Hi from a table of four todays service was busy yet well timed table served. We would come back. Location n ' parking lot was easy for us to meet here. Overal our stop here was a hit! Recommend . Google maps needs to add this stop. Perhaps my nav system update is now.

Patisserie du Soleil Bakery Cafe in Calgary, AB specializes in traditional and signature French pastries; as well as, a selection of espresso, coffees and savory dishes daily. Its a good neighbourhood bakery and cafe. When you first enter to the front of you and to the left they will have pastries and desserts in the display coolers and fresh baked bread where you can purchase and pay at the front cash register. Unfortunately, we weren’t welcomed to kindly. There was a sign to wait and be seated but while we were waiting we wanted to just see what desserts they were offering in their display coolers. A staff member approached us from behind the coolers and asked if we wanted anything and we told her we were waiting to be seated. She shrugged and rolled her eyes and quickly walked away. Not sure why she did that, and we definitely wanted to leave but fortunately for her we were all pretty hungry and decided to stay. Our server was great and the food was good. Overall, I would come back here. My advice is don’t peruse the display coolers if you are waiting to be seated or else you might be met by the display cooler police!Search “ Edmonton Eats Calgary | PATISSERIE DU SOLEIL “ on youtube!
