Unfortunately we are talking about an artisanal product with first choice materials and without any type of preservative, those who buy panettone from pastry shops are most of the time aware of the fact that such a product does not have the same expiry date as one purchased at the supermarket , those who aren't, ask to be safe. Having said that, when asked, we are absolutely willing to point out all these things to the customer, we consider it an advantage rather than a defect. We assure you that even if the deadline had arrived at Christmas, the product would not have been as fresh as if you had bought it a few weeks before the holiday, so for the future we advise you to order it in advance but to collect it close to the 25th to ensure you have a product that is absolutely fresh, soft and not at all dry.
