Today I had breakfast at Pasticceria Cardy in Gavirate, and I had an overall pleasant experience, although there are some points that deserve attention. Food and Drink: I ordered a cappuccino, an orange juice, a mini cream puff and a chocolate brioche. The brioche was with little/very little chocolate filling, cut and spread without filling, leaving some parts drier. In any case good for the quality of the brioche itself. The granulated sugar topping added a nice touch. The orange juice was fresh and refreshing, a perfect accompaniment for breakfast. Price: The total bill for breakfast was €9.00. While it's not an exorbitant price, it seemed a little high considering the portions and overall quality of the products. The brioche was priced at €1.55, the mini cream puff at €1.40, the cappuccino at €1.80, and the freshly squeezed juice at €4.20. Ambience and Service: The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and typical of a neighborhood pastry shop. The service was friendly and fast, without any particular hitches.
