Today I purchased a pistachio colomba because this pastry shop had been highly recommended to me. Unfortunately, the dessert sold, despite being €40/kg, has very little leavened Colomba. It is raw and totally unleavened, there are not even any leavening windows. It's a very common dessert with a drizzle of pistachio cream. It will have been cooked in a hurry without leavening.
