Terribly surprised to find a bad culinary experience in Rome especially at Trevi fountain! This pricey place promised a lot but finally ended up a spectacular anti climax to a marvellous day we spent discovering the city. Walking around the Trevi fountain area there are restaurants and restaurants and restaurants and each looks very inviting and cosy. We chose this place simply because we were too tired to walk any further. The steak I ordered (medium) was bland and too tough to eat and I left more than a few pieces partially chewed and spat out on the plate. I also told the rather aloof waitress that .. but apart from a curt sorry nothing really was acknowledged about the terrible quality of the steak. My wife had the sea bass which too was bland and very average. The fish wasn't deboned. Terrible eating experience.

Bad food in Rome is so unexpected that we were shell shocked and just left. Not great service either the food took an hour to get to our table after we ordered it. Bad experience to our first Roman day pastamore ! Definitely not coming back here !
