Excellent! Choix de sandwich avec salade et vin! Très abordable avant 5h ! Chicken Parm! Beets salad! The Forks a beaucoup changé ! Design et ambiance « trendy »!

I've been excited to try Passero but haven't until discovering it's now on Corydon. We were greeted promptly and our service was attentive but never intrusive.The atmosphere was warm and cozy with lovely jazz music in the background. The sharing-style menu was creative and delicious but there are a few things to note. If you have a 5 pm reservation, be aware that they literally don't open the doors until after 5 pm. Unfortunately, we had to wait outside in the frigid cold until they chose to open the doors. We started with the toasted sourdough and brown butter, which was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and even better with the aged balsamic and olive oil add-on. The warm beet salad had many flavours and was vibrant with colour and lots of interesting bites. For mains, we shared the beef tartare (pictured) which had a great presentation, and the buttermilk fried chicken, where the addition of peaches on the top was a delightful touch. The tagliatelle with seafood had delicious home-made pasta, but be aware it does have a spicy kick, so be prepared for that. We finished with the lemon cheesecake, and it was a standout- the lavender butterscotch added a unique and flavourful twist. Overall, it was a nice spot for a special occasion or a fun night out. The portions were satisfying for two, but not overly filling so take your time enjoying each plate. Just remember, don't show up until after 5 pm if your reservation is at 5. The service was ok the food was mediocre at best. Two things out of six were okay: the bread and the cheese cake I give it a 2 stars rating .
