Quality cut of prairie ribeye steak, with fat chunks that simply melt in your mouth, not too grisly. The green onion and peppers with the fried potatoes are a nice touch. Eggs done right. The orange slice is appreciated. No cheating out on the buttered toast, blueberry jam or peanut butter. Staff are attentive and genuine, keeping the drinks cold or hot, and flowing to you. The diner is filled with antiques and cool wonders. Kudos for selling homemade soups, hot sauces, jams jellies and rarely the occasional pie if you are lucky. Usually busy and loud during peak breakfast and lunch times. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $50–60 Vegetarian options: Didn't notice any Dietary restrictions: Not good for this. Lots of gluten, wheat, dairy, pork, canola rapeseed oil, FODMAP, oxalates. Didn't notice vegan or veg options. Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid street parking Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: No. Wouldn't recommend for any scooters, wheelchairs, walkers. Canes and crutches should fit ok. It is a narrow, tight crowded space with a difficult tight turn at the entrance with no automatic button doors and tight narrow washrooms and hallways.

We recently went to the Park Cafe for breakfast. Oh, how I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this eatery. This place is one of the few places where time stands still. The wait time was less than 15 minutes, even on the weekend . We got seated, and the tables were clean. A glass of Iced water came right out with black coffee, some cream, and sugar. Loved the aromatic roasted coffee, and it seemed popular amongst the crowd. Next on the order was eggs benny with in-house made hollandaise sauce on english muffin, tomatoes and wilted spinach. It came with a side of diced potatoes. They were absolutely crispy and delicious. We also ordered the in-house made fries, and it was sp crispy , fresh, and worth it. Our order of pancakes was the star of the meal. Simple ingredients but just as delicious with some butter, maple syrup, and slice of an orange . Just melt in mouth and fluffy as a pillow. Never had better pancakes than this before. Service was so great. The table was cleaned right away, and plates were cleared the moment we were done. Everyone served with a pleasant smile on the faces. Loved the ambiance. Quick service, excellent meal, and extraordinary decor. Would recommend 10/10.
