Yesterday evening, recommended by some acquaintances, I went in the company of a family friend, a splendid 92-year-old lady and her son, also a very dear friend, in Montefiore dell'Aso, at the "Pizzeria al Monte" located on a hill within a splendid splendid park. The premises were truly exciting but unfortunately achieving them turned out to be a prohibitive undertaking to say the least, not so much for me and my friend, but for the lady in question who in addition to her advanced age was also suffering from a heart disease In fact, the only entrance for cars to reach the Pizzeria was closed with a padlock, and given the difficulty that lay ahead, i.e. a long flight of steps all uphill, the lady, not hearing any reason, wanted to continue, walking along all the steps with us. steps to the top, stopping on each one for several seconds to recover energy. Question: why not allow elderly people and people suffering from pathologies or disabilities to be accompanied by car to the venue to enjoy an evening which later proved to be truly splendid, an incomparable place, very good pizza and kindness of the staff.
