I am a regular of De Santis in Milano Rinascente and it never disappoints. Unfortunately the one in Rome lacks management,service & doesn’t have the same cool design. Food was still great, just be patient. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The Gilda panini had too much arugula and not enough roast beef. The bread was interesting albeit thin and flour-y. Drinks were very good (aranciata and limonata) even though one was twice the size of the other for the same price. Server was highly unprofessional. They yelled and accosted us from across the other table just as we started eating a dessert from the confectionary next door. This was after we had already ordered and eaten our lunch at De Santis. Bad experience!!!! I recently visited this cafeteria on 16.08.2024 and was disappointed with the quality of the fruits I ordered. The fruits did not seem fresh, particularly the melon, which tasted sour and appeared to be spoiled. I approached the staff to address the issue and asked for a replacement. However, my request was denied. The staff assured me that everything is fresh, as they receive new fruits every day, and they declined to make any changes. This interaction left me doubting my own perception due to the tone used by the staff. To confirm, I asked a friend who was with me to check the fruits. However, she refused to taste them, noting that they had a strong, unpleasant odor. I also asked the staff member, politely, if she could verify the condition of the fruits herself, but she declined to do so. Given the location of this cafeteria in the heart of Rome, on the top floor of a prestigious store, I expected a higher standard of service and product quality.
