Vous aurez de bons souvenirs de ce lieu car il est connu pour avoir un bon service et une équipe aimable, toujours prête à vous aider. La plupart du temps, on trouve ici une atmosphère sereine. 4.4 est la note que cet endroit a reçu du sytème de notation de Google.

The restaurant Oud Balder in Berlaar opened its doors again after a renovation. The new owners made sure the place gives off a homely and cosy feeling. They changed everything from the menu to the staff to the colour on the walls. The waiters are very friendly and polite. The staff greets you with a smile, while one of the waiters takes you to your table. The restaurant is quite busy every time I go there, which leads to the waiters walking around a lot, but they still succeed in helping every customer pretty quickly. The friendliness of the staff makes the restaurant feel warm and welcoming. Although the waiters are really busy, the wait between taking the order and serving the food is just way too long. We waited for over an hour and a half for them to serve our table of three, even though we ordered fairly simple dishes. Luckily they give you a little basket with some bread slices and butter while you wait. When I finally got my vol-au-vent, it tasted bland and the serving was way too big. It was served on a plate the size of a service plate, with a tiny bowl of salad and another bowl of a potato side dish of your choosing next to it. Because of the size of the plate, the dish cooled down very quickly. The bland taste made me regret I didn’t eat more of the bread slices before. All in all, while the restaurant itself looks quite lovely with the redesign, they overprice their mediocre food. The wait doesn’t make it better either. I don’t recommend eating there unless you just want a drink.
