The first thing that catches the eye is the oval shape of the structure, an architectural detail that gives a particular and unique charm to the place. This conformation allows for an arrangement of tables that invites conviviality and relaxation. You can choose to sit either outside, where you can enjoy the coolness of the summer evenings and the passing people, or inside, in a warm and intimate atmosphere, ideal for intimate dinners or meetings with friends. The menu at La Cantina di Piazza Nuova offers a good variety of dishes, drinks and beers, with particular attention to local and seasonal products. The real protagonist, however, is the wide selection of wines. The wine list is well curated and represents a journey through the best Italian labels, with options for all tastes and budgets. This makes the place a favorite destination for wine enthusiasts, who can discover and taste quality wines in an informal and pleasant context. I found that La Cantina di Piazza Nuova is a valid solution both for those who intend to have an aperitif, but also for those who want to dine out. On our visit, we opted for an aperitif and were very satisfied. We ordered assorted croutons, prepared with tasty ingredients, and baked potatoes, cooked to perfection: crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, a real pleasure for the palate. The cocktails we chose were balanced and well presented, a perfect accompaniment to our dishes. Another aspect that deserves to be highlighted is the quality of the service. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to meet customers' needs with a smile. In particular, I had the pleasure of having a chat with the owner, an extremely kind and helpful person. During the conversation, I clearly perceived the passion and love he puts into his work. The owner enthusiastically told us his story and the history of the place.
