Osteria del Montalbano is a great restaurant. We stayed in Italy for 9 days and this restaurant had the most delicious meals! The staff was very friendly and it felt like we were welcome there. The atmosphere, food and service were all excellent. At the end of the dinner, we ordered coffees and I noticed that the coffee was served in different old cups. My mother collects coffee and tea cups and has over 1000 different cups in her collection. I sent him a picture of one of the cups and quickly got a message back that he didn't have that cup in his collection. I asked the presenter if I could buy this cup from them. Ettekanda replied that it was from the chef's grandmother's service and that it was probably not for sale. I also managed to mention to the waitress that my mother has a huge collection of cups. Since the dinner was over, I asked for the bill, and we were surprised when the same cup was brought to us beautifully wrapped along with the bill. It was a request from them that we send a picture later with the collection of this cup. Thank you very much for a very nice evening!
