We just had the kind of experience you look for when you read guides, articles, blogs.We found a truly local place where the cook is also the waiter and the food is what the season and the local countryside offers.The place makes you feel warm and at home and suddenly you are not a customer you are in the Kitchen of a newly met friend.for a place that is warm, has great food and where you truly feel at home.It is difficult to put in words how truly magnificent was our experience with Diego today.The decoration is great.The music made us sing along and shazam all the time.The food delivered perfect at 2.40 pm in the afternoon...left us mesmerized and silent.But the most amazing thing was the vibe of the place, the place emanates love and passion in every little detail.And it's the love and passion Diego has put in this project that is just 4 months old but is one of those rare pearls that end up in some major newspaper or book guide and then.....the secret is not anymore.I truly heartfully recommend it; and myself will come anytime I am near Assisi and want a sublime food and soul experience .

Siamo rimasti così affascinati dalla pajata al sugo con gli strangozzi e allo spiedo sulla brace, che ci siamo visti moralmente e spiritualitmente obbligati a fare pranzo e cena sempre lì. Ineccepibili anche il prosciutto crudo, i formaggi caprini dal produttore al consumatore, il vino bianco e rosso sempre del posto, i semifreddi alla cioccolata bianca e melone fatti da Diego e sua moglie, e come dimenticare il fantastico baccalà alla basca! Varrebbe la pena andare a Bevagna e in Umbria solo per andare all'Osteria del Bacco Felice! PS. Prezzi imbattibili soprattuto per la qualità e quantità dei prodotti!
