Given that a stroll around the village of Maranola is still worth it, but a stop at Ostaria 43 is like a trip to one of those places that should be preserved as a heritage for all of us. Rustic environment, very intimate, which harks back to the inns of the past. Very attentive, thoughtful service. The owner is generous with explanations and advice. And then the food, from the superb starter to the typical and genuine second courses. Excellent house wine and it's a shame not to have tried the dessert but when you are with a small child, alas, you have to retire early.
