Walked inside and asked if any Napolean was available for purchase? -"Yes" was the one word answer. Went in the back, after a minute came back out, with a boxed item , weighed it 8$, and sold it to me..said thank you and left. That was the whole interaction. The napoleon was for my Persian partner, who loves these pastries. She took 1 bite into the frozen brick pastry that got sold to us, without any warning or acknowledgement that we are buying a frozen pastry and supposed to look at it dethaw before we attempt to eat it, like we sought out to do. When my partner went back in to ask why we have a frozen pastry in our hand? The attitude, that came out of this woman's mouth, like she did nothing wrong, and lied on top of the fact. SAID that she specifically told me that she didn't have any and that she has frozen ones available and that's what she will sell me! I've never walked into a bakery or pastry shop and purchased a frozen item ready to eat, nor have I ever heard of a situation that sounds remotely close to this experience. If you're going to sell frozen items, speak up and warn your customers. And if you don't, and forget to tell them it's frozen, .try not to blame the customer and lie to our faces saying that you did tell me, in our 1 word response that you said. This experience and encounter has really shown the professionalism and courtesy that this bakery presents and represents, I will never return as a customer, nor will I give any positive reviews about this place. I will warn all of my close friends and family to not come close to this establishment, due to the level of disrespect we have been shown, to be called liars basically and it's our fault. If you want good baked items and pastries, stay far away from Oranous Pastry. Don't let them ruin your day, as ours was successfully done. Thank you Oranous Pastry.
