Uncle Johnny's Strandwirtschaft is located on the outskirts of Wenningstedt - directly on the dunes, slightly above the beautiful sandy beach between Wenningstedt and Kampen. As a guest, you can enjoy the food and drinks on offer in a rustic-nautical beach club with a wonderful view of the beach and the North Sea. When the weather is good, guests can use the outdoor terrace in front of the restaurant. There is a parking lot south of the nearby Wenningstedt campsite. Access to the restaurant was via paved dune paths above the restaurant (some with a wooden walkway) or directly from the beach; each with a few steps. I can highly recommend a stay, especially as a stopover on a beautiful beach hike between Westerland via Wenningstedt to Kampen (or vice versa). Parking: There is a parking lot south of the nearby Wenningstedt campsite. Access to the restaurant was via paved dune paths above the restaurant (some with a wooden walkway) or directly from the beach; each with a few steps. One (or more) visits to Uncle Jonny's are part of my Sylt vacation. Great atmosphere on the beach, delicious food, very nice staff and absolutely dog-friendly. (Perfectly located on the dog beach). In the picture you can see the delicious vegi burger. But I also had various other drinks and food - all delicious.
