Old Town Goodies takes the gift shop/general store to the next level. I've been to stores not only around OTG's town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, not only around the Niagara Parks region, not only Toronto, heck, all around the Provence of Ontario ... few do it as well, and none do it quite like Old Town Goodies. First of all, the depth and breadth of content is astounding. Where else can you buy puzzles for all ages (brands include Cobble Hill, Heye, Aquarius, Springbok, and Eurographics); board games ranging from the classics to the new-fangled (including an eclectic selection from Outset Games); Modern Moose-brand kid's clocks; Lug-brand bags; Metal Earth model kits; and a geektopia of collectables from Funko Pop to Star Trek to Star Wars to Doctor Who to Marvel Comics? Then there are the eats: Made-to-order comfort food options including sandwiches, poutine, and ice cream cones scooped from a few dozen flavors; candies for almost any sweet tooth; and an incredible cache of high-quality maple syrups and maple-based products (including Turkey Hill); and a bevy of mouth-melting hot sauces. Their selection is beyond incredible! Old Town Goodies makes an incredible argument for stores damning the torpedos and stores just selling whatever the hell they want. The friendly staff sure seem to love doing it! OTG is fun ... and it's hard to not leave with handfuls of bags. Children, their parents, and heck, even their grandparents will love perusing the oodles of options at OTG. Old Town's Goodies ... are GREAT!
