terrible pizza, it's just frozen in the supermarket, the burger is dry and also has a hair, which we were told comes from the salad thread, disgusting food and service

Went to dinner here with my dad (first time in Venlo!) and was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. We had the Caprese as a starter and the Parmigiano pasta for the main course. The Caprese had fresh mozzarella that tasted delicious, and it was also accompanied by some fresh bread with what I believe was an aioli dip. Overall, so fresh and tasty; the flavors were very balanced. As for the pasta, it was perfectly al dente and just the right amount of savory, thanks to the parmesan. Our waiter, Ricky, was incredibly friendly, and definitely deserves a raise. He also (kindly) insisted that we order dessert, but we were too full from the scrumptious meal. We will be back another time for the chocolate soufflé. Thank you for making us feel at home! Only thing I would slightly change about this restaurant is the decor in the outside seating area. However, this is definitely a tiny tweak that would make Old Dutch go from a 5/5 to a 6/5. Highly recommend!!
