Entrez pour un peu de repos après une longue promenage autour de Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre. La cuisine vietnamienne est bien préparée à Obanhmi. Le secret de la réussite de ce lieu est un terrine délectable. Ici, vous pouvez commander un café glacé immense.
La bonne note de cet endroit serait impossible sans un personnel digne. Un service luxueux est toujours un plaisir. C'est une bonne nouvelle pour les clients que Obanhmi propose un prix bas. Vous trouverez une atmosphère exotique ici. D'après les réactions des clients sur Google, ce lieu mérite la note de 4.4.

No MSG No Garlic Foodie

Today, I was initiated to an Obanhmi sandwich. I had a hard time at first when checking out menu images in Google Map. There were no English descriptions under each sandwich, just Vietnamese. Also I was particularly looking for items without garlic. I finally made a lucky guess and went for The Deluxe Classic. After the fact, I found a detailed description under menu on their website (not the ordering menu). I ordered "French-influenced sandwich, filled with only house-made goodness—pâté, Vietnamese mayo, jambon, Vietnamese ham, and seasoned extra-lean pork belly". Apart from lack of actual descriptions, the online order was very useful, there were lots of checkboxes for customizing the sandwich further like 'no' to house mayo, 'add extra daikon and carrots', 'yes' to cutting the banh mi in half, but there wasn't an option to ask for no jalapeño. Given that my previous banh mi experience was in Victoria drive at a cash-only-no-customization joint, Obanhmi seemed so much easier. Before ordering, I was somewhat worried about their negative reviews. I must admit the server who gave me my sandwich was very friendly, spoke English well, she was able to explain to me the various levels of garlic in each sandwich, and she said that I made the right choice ordering The Deluxe Classic. I enjoyed the banh mi. The vegetables were crispy and fresh. The meat was French and delightful. Based on how pleasant she was alone, I would order from this place again. The online ordering experience, however, could be improved! I'd like to see the same detailed English description under each Banh Mi. I would also like to see an explanation in the 'Extra meat' check box – i.e. what kind of meat – is it chicken meat in the chicken Banh Mi or is it always the same 'meat'??? It would also be nice if there is a checkbox for regular mayo (non-garlic mayo), and a check box for 'no garlic' for the Chicken Lemongrass. And what is 'house mayo'? The order slip actually say hoisin mayo, so why not say that so there's no mystery for people with garlic allergies like me. It would also be nice if there is a photo for each Banh Mi so that we can see if we really need to add extra meat or extra anything. I am excited to see that they have a page for "Nutrition and Allergens", but the information on that page is not relevant to my garlic allergy. I would like to see garlic included on this page. Based on the easy online ordering (I'm hopeful for the improvements), the friendly service at the counter, the quality of the sandwich I received, the price, the convenient closing time (hopefully, I can order my dinner banh mi sometime), I give this place a 5 star. In fact, I liked it so much I went back at supper time, and found my new favourite gluten-free roll – Lemongrass Chicken Banhmi without the French bread, [] add rice wrap, [] extra meat, [] no raw onions, [] add extra vegetables = giant chicken salad roll without the rice noodles! Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
