J’ai passé aujourd’hui mais la personne qui prend de commande il ne pas respectueux il es mal éduqué et la personne qui es au cuisine il mange sans laver sa main il touche encore nos commande vraiment hygiène ne pas au rendez-vous dans cette restaurant trop sale. After hearing so much about OEB Breakfast Co., a friend and I finally made it in for weekend brunch. We lucked out with a table thanks to the rainy weather. Normally it’s tough to snag a spot without a wait. We got there just before noon, and sure enough, by the time we were seated, a line had already formed. Clearly, this place is popular for a reason. The space is full of charm. There are playful egg and brunch-themed details everywhere, including the egg-shaped booth we sat in, and colourful chalk illustrations that add a fun, whimsical feel. The crowd was a great mix of families, couples, and groups of friends, which gave the place a lively but welcoming vibe. We kicked things off with two non-alcoholic drinks: the pomegranate nojito and the pineapple grapefruit oasis. It’s refreshing to see restaurants offering more thoughtful alcohol-free options, and both of these were light and not overly sweet. For food, we shared the gnocchi carbonara (I don’t usually go for gnocchi, but I couldn’t resist the carbonara), the short rib poutine with potato wedges, the Notorious B.I.G. burger, and the Baked Apple Griddle Stack pancakes. Lucas, our server, was super helpful and suggested going with waffle fries for the burger instead of repeating the wedges - great call. Everything was well-prepared, but the burger and pancakes were the highlights. The burger’s milk bun was soft and rich, and the pancakes were incredibly fluffy and flavourful. The portions were huge, so we were glad we showed up hungry. The service was also worth mentioning: the team was attentive and friendly, with manager Hadrian even stopping by our table to check in. Plates were cleared quickly and water glasses were always full. All in all, OEB lives up to the hype. Delicious food, thoughtful service, and a fun atmosphere.
