Pizza Norvegese: Overloaded, too many onions and a little bit too soft/ spongy. Would have been way better, if served more crispy, I guess. Staff seemed to be a bit struggling with the workload. People that arrived after us, were served before us (almost same dishes). They also had to arrange additional tables more or less randomly to cope with the amount of guests. This seemed a bit odd. NOPE! I came on a night where the staff just overall did not have it together and seemed like they were completely overwhelmed. I believe I came on a Sunday so they were overwhelmed because most places are closed on Sundays. I was staying in one of the nearby hotels and was recommended this place simply because it was close and convenient. Let me give a breakdown of what I had. I got a simple salad and, a pizza. I had already seen how big the pizzas were going to be so I asked if it was possible if I could get a children’s pizza with a full-size salad because that would’ve been perfect. I was specifically told that no you cannot order a smaller pizza I found to be a little odd. It almost seemed as though they were thinking like I was trying to be cheap by ordering the child’s pizza, but that wasn’t the case at all, I just simply knew there was no way I was going to finish a whole pizza by myself. A pizza could easily feed 2-3 people. What ended up happening was they said that they were just going to make the pizza “small“ it wasn’t small whatsoever and charge me for the normal large pizza. Whatever. The salad arrived and it was literally drowning in dressing. It was almost in edible because there was so much dressing. There is a photo attached in case you don’t believe me. The bowl was literally a quarter filled with dressing. The other thing that really threw me off was one of the waitresses got super annoyed, and I watched her firsthand with a gentleman who did not tip her. Tipping in Europe is not a common thing and it was odd because he was clearly an American and traveling for business, and it was almost like there was an expectation because he was an American that he should’ve tipped. She literally rolled her eyes at this guy because he left no tip for her, and that was extremely offputting . The pizza is good. The service is awful. And the rest of the food I wouldn’t recommend.
