Sadly quality has been going downhill for a few years now, and after a number of rather egregious errors, coupled with today's experience - I will never be back, and will ensure as many people are aware of the disgusting lack of cleanliness this restaurant follows...
- Twice now I have found long hairs in the food and have had to send it back.
- On multiple occasions I have observed kitchen staff in the washroom and not washing their hands upon existing.
- We found dried shrimp and bits of over fried fish in our green beans (my wife has a shellfish allergy)
And then tonight after placing my take-out order, my wife went to pick it up and they tried to short change her. I have ordered their noodles/braised beef dish for years. Except I get it sans noodles (I cannot eat gluten) and always ask (and typically receive) extra soup instead.
Order was placed, no problems on the phone - my request was clearly communicated and repeated, and upon my wife going to pick up the food, she noticed they tried to only include one container of soup. She notified them of their error and they attempted to charge her another $4 (on a $10 dish) for more soup. Needless to say I was irritated to the point that I said forget it, get a full refund and we will write them off completely.
Nasty hair/bits and pieces of other dishes in our food over multiple visits, then this proverbial slap in the face (because the owner was there and she is apparently an evil witch - you can adjust the W with any other letters you see fit) - so much so the waitress that we have known for years came out afterwards and apologized profusely and eluded to said nasty owner's presence.
Well owner - get your head out of your ass and wake up - the restaurant business is about customer service and you my dear, need a lesson in 101 CS - pronto.
