My family and I have camped down at the campsite down below and always enjoy when we go into the tasting room. Previous years I was not as crazy about there wines but this year I was very impressed and be a fan. I loved the Merlot and Rose. My husband loves the dream catcher but it's too sweet for me. This last visit we went just for some appetizers and a glass of wine on the patio while we waited for our group to arrive. This was the first time getting food here and it was delicious!! We got the burrata on sourdough with roasted butternut squash and the crispy miso potatoes. Both were incredible! They were both so unique but amazing we couldn't put them down! Only con for this place is we all had weird experiences with the host. They take reservations very seriously and wouldn't let two members join our tasting when they were running late and said they had no availability when the place was dead empty. We also had another experience where they almost didn't let us join our family on the patio because we didn't have enough time before our tasting reservation even when we said we weren't ordering anything. Hopefully they loosen up with the unnecessary rules because otherwise it would have been a perfect trip.

Wonderful, intimate patio restaurant overlooking the valley.  My favourite.  Compliments to the staff (including Natalie) and chef.

Nk'Mip Cellars is a winery within the Nk'Mip Resort Area. This resort is totally tribal and the Chief Clarence Louie has really done his tribe well. This is probably one of those rare resorts that doesn't even rely on a casino. It's a well apportioned property and the wine shop is spacious and overlooks Osoyoos. The restaurant tables are arranged on the hill top for some great outdoor dining, although the umbrellas were not out on the sunny day we were there and caused quite a bit of fear of sunburn. The wines themselves are decent and the staff are personable and knowledgeable about the tribe and the wines. It's worth the drive through the Osoyoos town to hit up this resort.
