I have visited Nilgiris before, went there with the same expectations. Alas the quality has plummeted. I ordered Masal dosa, poori and vada. Masal dosa was fresh, rest of the itema weren't freah at all. Vada was refried, all the chatnis were ice cold, sambar lacked the authebtic south Indian taste, it was mixed with besan so taste wasnt authentic. The problem loes with their oil, when U enter the restaurant, you are wlcomed by the oil Smell which is of a poor quality oil. Hope they improve their quality. Poor attitude, face coverings not covering nose. Like I did today November 7 9:45 a.m. oh, they tell you to leave like I was told by this man who was angry and his voice was shaking.

Best restaurant back in 2012-13 14 15 16 17 18, 19 and even last year, but they have become poor in their attitude, in their consistency of service, in there being able to keep staff. They have lost all the good staff. There are a business possibly waiting to be closed, thankfully this review will serve as a milestone that they should be able to read.

Disrespecting customers who are lining up and not even making eye contact with them. ID was not even being checked with the covid screening document. When I told this to the owner for the manager on duty today at around 9:45 a.m. November 7th 2021, I was told by the guy " you have complained I do not want to hear any complaints they said so please". Where is Anand ? Are you reading this?

We ordered breakfast for a function. This includes idlies, pongal, upma, vada and kesari. These were awesome. All the guests loved it. Sambar and chutnies were excellent. We were glad that we found an excellent place for catering. The price is also very nominal. I highly recommend to all. When we were there, we also bought medhu vadas (two for a dollar) and masal vadas (3 for a dollar) for a party. They were very tasty. Finally I found an excellent South Indian restaurant near my place.
