Went to NextDoor Restaurant in Unionville for brunch and really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is chic and cozy, perfect for a weekend catch-up. The food was fresh and nicely presented, especially the brunch mains — everything tasted great and felt thoughtfully made. Service was friendly, though a bit on the slower side since it was busy, but overall a great experience. Prices are reasonable for the quality and ambiance. We held our reception here for our wedding and booked the fireplace room for us and 35 guests. The location is on historic Unionville Main Street, which has ample choices for photo locations for the married couple and guests. Right from the start of our inquiry, the team of David, Jason and all NextDoor staff were beyond professional and kind. They welcomed all of our questions throughout the process, and always could provide options based on my questions. Communication was very clear throughout the process either through the event flyers they provide or through the contract. The restaurant is kind of split into two sides, with a door in between, so in the fireplace room we were fully private from the other side and patio. The service throughout the night was phenomenal, with the staff being present a perfect amount.
We get to the day of our event knowing how great the customer service had been, and were still blown away. The venue itself is beautiful and we didn't feel any need for much extra decoration, just some simple personal touches. But the most important part of any reception is the food and it was phenomenal. Not one bad thing could be said about the food. Our guests were raving that it was the best wedding food they ever had. Every single dietary concern was taken into accommodation and those people still were provided delicious meals to rave about. The cost per head for an event, is extremely reasonable, considering the quality and amount of food each person had. We were also able to bring in a cake for an extra cost that they cut and served for us.
NextDoor hosted our perfect microwedding. Thank you for everything!
