La cuisine chinoise créée par un chef grandiose est magnifique à cet endroit. Allez déguster un porc cuit à la perfection dans New Hong Kong si vous n'êtes pas loin. Commandez des crêpes délicieuses.

Great authentic food from a restaurant that has been open for over 55 years. It looks closed from the outside. They are doing takeout only since COVID. You can call in advance with your order to get them to start making it so it's ready when you arrive. Very affordable and filling. The diner: The restaurant was clean and service was quick. Prices are similar to what you would pay in another Winnipeg dim sum restaurant. The small amounts of food were tasty.The dive: Google maps' title is a bit misleading, as it is actually called "New Hong Kong Snack House". Their dim sum menu is disappointingly narrow and few of the traditional dim sum items are served here. If you just want soup, they have more soups on the menu than dim sum items. They also seemed hesitant to serve us, as we showed up at 2:30 hoping for a meal and they close at 3. And they're cash only.The bottom line: If you're hungry, Winnipeg has many other full-menu traditional Chinese restaurants that are open later than 3 pm on a weekday and will satiate your dim sum needs.
