There is a reason people line up and take numbers here! It is excellent quality, great service and good value. I especially love the made-in-store items. Meals prepared make it easy to have lasagna or cabbage rolls without the fuss. As a single person I especially enjoy it because if I were to make most of these things I would spend $80 on ingredients! Soups made in store are great. The deli meats are an amazing deal! Cheaper than "on sale" at the big grocery stores and it is fresh, also made in store. The roast beef is cooked just to medium and is so tender and juicy! Heating it up in a pan and then having my own beef dip at home is a special treat. The ground chicken carcass is excellent as raw dog food, and the lady at the counter told me she makes soup stock from it also! I shop here at least 1x/week.

I really appreciate small business. I love your steaks, venison and elk sausages. Today I'm incredibly disappointed with the meatloaf and the shepherd pie. The salt is used as a condiment..it was and never intended to be a preserver in your meals. Absolutely inedible. I wouldn't even give it to our dog. Please get rid of the salt Shaker and the msg.....

Nesvog Meats & Sausage Co. is a Family run business that in my opinion has the best quality meats you can buy anywhere in Nanaimo. Along with the best meats, they make their own fresh sausages daily. The stock a large selection of Vancouver Island cheeses, veggies, salads, store made sandwiches & wraps. Local farm fresh egg, cream & milk. Since their renovations, a complete frozen food section with many varieties of proggies, and other good stuff. They also carry an assortment of unique items to complement and meal. It's truly a one stop meat shop for an entire meal for just you, or the yearly company barbeque.I live in the area and I shop 2 or 3 times a week at Nesvog Meats & Sausage Co. and feel privileged to have this shop in my neighborhood. I strongly recommend Nesvog Meats & Sausage Co. you won't be disappointed.
