Friends of ours recently got engaged and we decided to go to your restaurant as we had never been there before. Our friends had also seen your place on line and were looking for a wedding venue. Our friends arrived at 7:15pm and we were told by the waitress that we needed to order as the kitchen is very busy and the food might be taking more than 20min. So we placed our orders early as everyone was hungry and therefor my friend asked the waiter, what can he order that will be quick while he waits for his main meal. So our friends ordered a caprese salad to start before the main meal. After 1:45 min since ordering a basic caprese salad... I went to the kitchen to establish why a caprese salad is taking so long as the waitress was no where to be found and seeemd to be spinning. The manager Marciano told me the food was coming. Cut a long story short. The food arrived at 9 pm! Only after having to go back to the manager to ask where our food was again 15min later. He was not accommodating at all and very short with me. All 4 meals were wrong. The menu is extremely deceiving as the descriptions are that of a 5star establishment with true culinary detail on the type of food that will be prepared and ordered, but the food that you receive is, A not as described on the menu, B looks like reheated and replated from a frozen pack and totally opposite to what we ordered. My wife ordered a slow braised lamb fettucine pasta dish with cumin coriander and paprika... she got small penne pasta with shavings of mozzarella and parsley drizzled at the top??? Not to mention it looked like the meal had been sitting for some time and looked very dry. I specifically asked for a steak with fat on it. There was none and asked for Parmesan fries and got regular fries. Also asked for marrow butter but there was none. The waitress took it away and brought back my meal with the exact same fries that she initially brought with Parmesan pieces thrown on top of them with some chives..... I have had parmesan fries all around the world and one element is the same... it is fries with melted butter infused with rosemary and garlic and parmesan powder .... shocking and a teaspoon of butter( which was not marrow butter but garlic butter, which looked like it was squeezed out from a woolies tube) for R 30! Outrageous. My friends wife had ordered a chicken meal with honeyglaze confit but she received a peanut chicken with noodles... not at all what she ordered. What would have happened if she had a peanut allergy and ate it?? My friend ordered a prawn curry as he loves seafood... however he receive what looked like an attempt from a beginner on beef stew... couldn't even recognize anything resemblance of a prawn. He said it might as well have been a regular stew! Very disappointed! Spare another manager came to apologize and to attempt to redeem the establishment, however Marciano came to the table and said , " just take everything off their bill " my wife was not happy with that and said... we would like to pay for our drinks we had as well as the caprese salad that was eaten by our friends as that was not the point, but Spare insisted and asked us not to judge them by this experience!!! We didn't eat our main meals at all and they took them all away so we left and was left to find something or somewhere to get a meal at 9:25pm at night. We did not go there to have free drinks or starters, we wanted to see the venue for a possible hire for our friends wedding. Spare was trying his best and tried to convince us to return and give them another chance, unlike the arrogant and rude Maciano! Very very disappointed in the food and certainly won't be going back. We do not deny there was an issue with your tables order. But we will not tolerate swearing and verbal abuse from patrons regardless of a mistake with an order. Entering into the kitchen twice a no go zone area. And Physically standing up close and putting fingers into staffs face will not be toleratedMore

The atmosphere and setting was lovely. Food was average. Owner was incredibly rude when we had negative feedback about a dish. Customer service from management definitely needs work. I wont be attending again soon.
