I recently had the opportunity to dine at Nami Sushi restaurant - at the outside terrace, and while the sushi itself was commendable, my overall experience was unfortunately marred by the service. Starting with the positives, the raw fish was nothing short of exceptional. Each piece was impeccably fresh, with flavors that were both delicate and pronounced, making it clear that great care had been taken in sourcing high-quality ingredients. The maki rolls, while enjoyable, didnt quite reach the same heights. They were good, but lacked that extra touch that separates the merely decent from the truly outstanding. Still, the food overall was a pleasure. However, the experience was significantly let down by the service, particularly by our waiter. A man in his 30s, he carried himself with an air of arrogance that was difficult to ignore. His dismissive attitude and lack of attentiveness were disappointing, to say the least. Its rare to encounter someone who so thoroughly seems to believe that the diner is there to serve his ego, rather than the other way around. His behavior was not only unprofessional, but also detracted from what should have been a seamless dining experience. In a restaurant that clearly invests in the quality of its cuisine, its a shame that the service doesnt match the same level of excellence. Good food deserves good service, and unfortunately, this was where Nami Sushi restaurant fell short. I hope they address this issue, as the quality of the sushi deserves to be complemented by a dining experience that is polished from start to finish.
