I had a very disappointing experience at Mythos in Brooklyn Mall. As we sat down for lunch, the waitress handed us two menus and vanished. After waiting for a while, I had to ask one of the idle waiters to come and take our order. My friend and I wanted to order draft beers, but of the three options listed on their menu, only Castle Light was available – a brand neither of us enjoy. When I asked why the other options were unavailable, the waitress simply shrugged and said, “Eish the people, they drink a lot.” This was at 2:00 PM. Reluctantly, I settled for something else and ordered what should have been a straightforward choice: rump steak and chips. To my frustration, I was told they had already sold out of steak by 2:00 PM! Whether it’s due to poor management, bad planning, or just bad luck, the experience was thoroughly disappointing. This visit has left me with the impression that their standards have noticeably declined, and when that happens, it’s often only a matter of time before a restaurant folds. Our favourite restaurant in Brooklyn Mall. You know the food and service will be good. Had the beef burger last night - was particularly fresh and delishious. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 200–250 Recommended dishes: Mini Pitas
