No sides except your choice of chips bags in Sept 2019?

I don't know if there's a new manager or owners between Sept 2019 and now. My first and only time so far going to this location of Mr. Sub ( its in a walkable location)- I wanted to I think get a brownie, with my sub (it was a meatball), and the employee at the time, indicated/implied that the only "side" this location had was a handful of chips. So I was very disappointment about that. I want to go back next month, but I'm afraid of being disappointed again. Since what's the point of a coupon of "your choice of side" if your own choice of side is "picking though a handful of bags of chips?"

The sub was delicious though!
