One of the few places that bake their own pita bread, and ship it throughout the city. I didn't see any gluten free options, but the fact they fresh bake their bread means it's healthier than any of the store bought stuff. You can feel how soft the pita is...very friendly and generous owners. My father has been going here for years and I will continue going here whenever I can. For generosity... a title!! What if generosity meets hospitality and authentic taste? I am now visiting family in Edmonton, and we stopped at Mediterranean Pita Bakery Brother Abu Sharif insisted on us eating some of the delicious bread he brought and some groceries (cheese, olives, shanklish, makdous), pies and manakish. The fact that this behavior of Brother Abu Sharif did not concern us alone, but rather he behaved like this with all customers.
