Very poor service, this is the slowest McDonald’s in SA. You will wait long even if you’re the only one in the queue. Staff need better training or supervision because it’s absolutely unacceptable. Ever since they opened it’s been the same customer experience. Would not recommend it Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 200–250 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dear McDonald's Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at the KwaMnyandu Mall location on October 16, 2024, around 3:00 PM. As a regular customer at this McDonald's, I have come to accept that the service is often less than excellent, but today was particularly disheartening. While waiting for a companion to join me for lunch, I was approached by a staff member who informed me that I was not allowed to sit without placing an order. I assured her that I intended to order once my friend arrived. Unfortunately, this staff member went on to inform her colleagues and even called security to remove me from the premises. What was particularly humiliating was the reaction of the staff, who laughed and made comments about my situation as I left. This experience left me feeling mocked and disrespected, which is unacceptable in any customer service environment. I was unable to obtain the staff member’s name, as they do not wear name tags, which I find unprofessional. However, she was a tall, light-skinned woman with big eyes and a slightly chubby build, working during the 3:00 PM shift. This incident has left me with a bitter taste regarding my experience at McDonald's, and I regret to say that I will not be returning in the future. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and address the behavior of your staff to prevent such incidents from occurring again.
