Absolutely horrendous management. I've been with the club for 6 years now and there had been frequent management changes. All of them had been incompetent with some being both incompetent and arrogant. Recently two friends of mine have lost properties from their lockers and when they went to the club manager Jennifer, they were asked not to report the cases to the police because the club insurance premium would skyrocket. But of course they were not given solutions either and one of the members was told if she didn't like the club she could go elsewhere. I guess they believe they have a monopoly on indoor tennis in the area which probably is the case for comprehensive facility and it explains the arrogance and complacency. For the past two weeks we were unable to book courts at the times we normally did because the majority of courts during those slots were blocked on multiple days by an external event. So we booked later times and when we arrived the club house, it was packed with people from the event (ie non members). There was no designated areas for the guests and members had to stand around unable to use the facilities. I believe the event was a tournament for Lawrence Park Collegiate. I contacted Jennifer the club manager suggesting that they should have arranged for a designated area for the guests so that members would still have access to the use of the clubhouse instead of the entire clubhouse being occupied by guests. Even for summer camps they limited one parent per camper access to the club house so I don't understand why this is not implemented for this completely external event. I also requested to have the dates and times of the tournament so that I could avoid going to the club at those times but I had not received a response. RESPONSE to club's response: Pls specify clearly under what aliases have I posted another negative review of East. Before making such accusation, you will need to provide clear evidence. As for members who told me about the police report incident, I would highly recommend that you be careful with your comment as it was the involved member who told me personally about it. Instead of being arrogant and defensive, I would suggest that the club's management adopt a more humble attitude and try to address members' genuien and needs and concerns. I'm sure you do realize that your Google reviews are far from being stellar and you're losing members everyday.

Hello G C, Thank you for your feedback. We take all concerns seriously and always aim to ensure a positive experience for our members. However, we would like to clarify several inaccuracies in your statement. At no time has our club manager, Jennifer, discouraged anyone from contacting the police regarding personal property. We do not interfere in such decisions. A police report is entirely up to the individual to file it for the missing or stolen items. Mayfair Clubs can not file a police report on your behalf. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment and take reports of lost or missing property seriously. With regard to the recent tournament, we acknowledge that the clubhouse was busier than usual due to an external booking. This event was scheduled in advance and communicated through our regular channels (Tennis section of the October enews update page for Parkway). While we understand the added foot traffic may have caused some inconvenience, we do our best to balance external events with member access. Your suggestion regarding designated guest areas has been noted and will be considered for future planning. As per your request, we have posted the full listing of events below. The maintenence closes the main door early by 30mins before the closing time, so they can leave earlier. When confronted about it, they made up a bunch of lies. Negligence on every level. Not worth half of what they're charging. Avoid.
