If you're ever in Milan, make sure to visit this restaurant! Locals love it and I was taken there by two of my friends who live in Moncha (a smaller town 30 min from Milan) and absolutely love that place! ** they're regulars and everyone there knows them by their first name. * Ambience: cozy, traditional Italian trattoria. * Food: we were not handed any of their menus. We were instead offered what the owner thought were their best dishes last night. In total 4 appetizers, presented one after the other. I should mention at this point that they specialize in seafood and fish and all their appetizers were seafood and fish based and delicious! The first one was some type of ceviche-style fish cooked in orange and lemon juice. The second one raw tuna on a bed of shredded white cabbage in extra virgin absolutely insanely delicious olive oil infused with some balsamic vinegar. Third one shrimp with porcini mushroom again made in olive oil -- I could honestly live on that dish! Lastly, sea urchin bruschetta! The single most unique flavor ever. * Main Course: spaghetti with little tiny shrimp and seashells again made in extra virgin olive oil and oregano. Halfway through I was already full but could not stop having it! * Desserts: I just had some coffee and my friends had the mandarin sorbet and a traditional Sicilian sweet called cassata: sponge cake layered with ricotta cheese and candied fruit. In addition they brought out mini biscotti and three little iced treats: vanilla filling covered with chocolate! After we paid they also served us some of their liquor (was told it's made of greens and helps with digestion, don't know the name). All in all, if you want to eat and be treated like a local, go there!

We were hesitant in walking through the door of this establishment, as it was completely empty when we arrived. Entering proved to be a wise decision. We were greeted by the acting manager, Diego, who promptly sat us and poured a sparkling white wine while we looked over the menu (which is limited to seafood dishes from the Mediterranean). We next had a lovely salad and first course of risotto and tuna. The risotto/tuna fish was AMAZING!! Next was a lightly fried fish medley. Still delicious. We finished with a tiramisu. The dishes were all served as a beautiful presentation. The service was first class (as "Sir" & "Lady", Diego insisted we enjoy the dishes with the proper order & accompany). Perhaps the best part was listening to the jazzy covers of 80s-00s pop songs, trying to figure out who sings what we obviously knew by heart. Would definitely return.
