We had the steak tartare and it just was not right. The minestrone soup was mush and flavorless and the gnocchi and veal was also flavorless. I would pick another restaurant on the strip...however, the waitress was very nice along with the view.

So here is the thing..pizza was okay..but service sucked..we had to ask for the menu..we had to ask if he can take our order....drinks had to be served by ourself..I see ppl waiting for the check..prices are quite high cause the reataurant is near the lake..I had the same pizza at the Restaurant Il Cantinone which was bigger better and less expensive..

We ended up here for dinner because all the other restaurants in the area didn't have any tables open. This place still had several tables available for seating (questionable sign in itself?). I would give the food 2 stars (it was mediocre at best) but the service and overall experience demoted the overall rating to 1 star. When we were seated they assigned us to a previously used table (dirty table cloths and plates still there). They took the plates but left the dirty cloth, so we ended up just turning it over. We had to order a second round of water and a beer several times before they finally brought it out an hour later. The waiter was not friendly at all, which didn't help the situation much. But hey, we received some 'fresh extra protein' in the form of live insects sprinkled over our food due to the light just above the table that was littered with spider webs and flying ants etc. The steep price of the place just made it all worse. If it were a cheap location, I couldn't complain. But the fact that their price tag implies a higher end dining experience, this is just not acceptable. Mary's? Me thinks NOT.
