NOT RECOMMENDED The plan: Five people to finally relax and dine well in the evening after a 55 km long discovery tour. We liked the Poppins and its ambience fitted perfectly into the warm, sunny summer day. Also the owner/boss was very nice and let us load a vehicle while we got comfortable. Thank you very much! The order was received promptly and (unexpectedly) delivered very quickly. Thumbs up! We would have liked to have given 5 stars at this point, but what was presented to us/me at XXXX didn't work at all! Optics works, the rest doesn't. Some of the onions in the burger were charred and burned black, the "meat?" a disgusting taste, like rotten meat, some like hard leather that couldn't be chewed and the rest like goo. Yes, Goo - Disgusting! I have NEVER had such a bad citizen. We don't think that neither the owner nor the waitresses would eat that themselves. Even my friends were not at all convinced by what was presented. Other visitors have written that before. Should we have listened! Sorry if that comes across as very offensive, but that wasn't just my feeling about it. I am merely describing my unbiased and open opinion on it. What follows now has NOTHING to do with the food, but with the situation. My friend suddenly suffered from stomach cramps and needed our care. Distracted by this, we unfortunately couldn't pass our frustration on to the waitress. Who knows if that would have helped. But the icing on the cake was the hefty bill - OUTRAGEOUS RIP OFF for what we were presented with!!! That doesn't work at all! From our side, there will be NO further visits to this gastronomy for the above reasons and we can only advise against it.
