this small restaurant, cozily situated a bit back from the road is a must visit if you are in the area! the food is fantastic, the service is friendly and professional, but at the same time familial between the staff, which creates a homely atmosphere. despite the language barrier, we had a delicious meal. I would, however, recommend that the owner make a menu card in English so that the tourists can better see what delicious food this restaurant offers.! until then, I would recommend checking Facebook or Instagram where there are pictures of several of their dishes Cant make another so i wil poste nr 2 here aswel On this last night of our vacation, my mom wanted a classic Italian dish. That's why we chose to revisit this fantastic restaurant where we were greeted by big smiles and what seemed like genuine joy at seeing us again. Once again communicated via translator app which works really well. Shortly after our order came a plate of garlic bread, after this came a smaller serving, then another smaller serving and finally the main course. Our wish to end the holiday with a classic Italian meal turned into a culinary journey through several classic dishes that we would not have ordered ourselves if we had to translate the menu, so we could not end the holiday better.! I had the pleasure of trying the Marì Ristorante Pizzeria in Gaeta and I was extremely satisfied. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor space and the atmosphere is welcoming. We savored a delicious crunchy octopus and seafood dumplings. The service was impeccable, with attentive and courteous staff. However, the highlight of the evening was the desserts. We tasted a Caprese, a decomposed Millefoglie and other delicious desserts. Each dessert was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. I highly recommend Marì Ristorante Pizzeria for an unforgettable dining experience in Gaeta.
