Upon entering the store the pizza maker was very friendly and inviting. You could feel the passion she had put in the food, just by how she talked. The place is very beautiful inside and warm. Now let's get to the food I ordered, I ordered large pizza with bacon,green pepper,onion with 20 wings(Mild) and garlic bread(no cheese). TWO BITES EVERYONE KNOWS THE RULES. The pizza had a flop to it, which hurts it a little bit for me, I would like to see little to no flop. The toppings were very generously spread out for crust to tip bite. The sauce on the pizza was a bit tangy, but absolutely delicious. The cheese seemed basic didn't really stand out to me. The dough now that really stood out, great flavor. I give the pizza a 7, I think with a little work I could see this pizza hitting the 8s. Now onto the wings, and we all know I don't play with my wings. Let me start off by saying WOW, these wings are FIRE. Maybe top 3 in hamilton, fresh and juicy. The sauce on the wings was your basic mild sauce, but these wings are by far the stand out food, they get a 8.7. The garlic bread was your basic sub marine garlic bread, cook perfectly. This place is definitely worth trying out, there's alot of pizza places on the mountain, but this one has the potential to really stand out. Our new pizza place! We used to use coupons from a chain pizza place but they kept making the coupons worse and the raising the price. So we were looking for a new place to order pizza. The service is excellent: we went to the same Papa Johns every week and the same workers never recognized us. The first time we went to Maple Leaf, they recognized us as new customers. The pizza is at least as good as Papa John's with a very bready crust, generous amounts of very stretchy cheese, and a good ratio of toppings on a deluxe pizza. Also the creamy dipping sauce is amazing. I'm not sure if all pepperoni is Halal, but it's still tasty and crisps up a little (and not spicy). We prefer calling over ordering online for pickup. Seriously, the BEST shawarma chicken that I have tasted. It is so tender and well seasoned. The owner is very pleasant and works hard to make top-notch food.
