The food was good (sushi amazing, some dishes distinctly average ) - service excellent - but the room is dated and a little creepy. And there was a giant Christmas party with karaoke next door which ruined things. In future I would rather the restaurant be honest and say this is happening because for the price we paid we expect really something special. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, based on the excellent reviews, especially in Gault et Millaud. It is clear that we do not share their point of view. We chose the Connaisseur menu (chf 160) with the sake pairing (chf 70) The service was approximate and unfriendly, for a 5* establishment. Training in a hotel school. Would be a plus. From a culinary point of view, although the quality of the raw materials is undeniable, we were not dazzled by the flavors of the dishes, which lacked depth. Despite the bold flavor combinations, the balance of the dishes was not there. The accompaniment of sake, from Camargue for the first, brought a pleasant touch to this moment. The friendliness and professionalism of the sommelier undoubtedly contributed to this. The dessert raised the level a little, but again without much relief. The appearance of the place could be better. Ultimately the positive experience was in the discovery of very good sake.
