Whether you will be happy here depends on the parking space or living space. We were at the front and out of the way, so neither exposed to the attempts of newly arrived caravan pullers to park, nor to the incredibly loud children's playground/café/bar in the middle of the square. On the beach you first have to pass the hundreds of deck chairs, which are 10% occupied, to then get to the free section of the beach. This is free for the first three days of the holiday, from then on every family simply left all their junk behind to be lying there again the next day (accordingly no one cleaned up the beach and after two weeks of Pentecost something came together), it Claims were staked out with bamboo poles and driftwood was stashed. The restaurant itself is a bit questionable, we made three attempts to eat there in the evening, unfortunately the tables were always completely empty and would only be available again from 10 p.m. On the third evening I had fun and drank a beer in the cafe to continue watching the restaurant and they just kept sending people away in a fun way even though everything inside was free. Very strange. The supermarket is small but good, the operators are always in a good mood. As an adult, it's worth taking your bike with you and going to Castiglione in the evening; it's very touristy but still beautiful and there are a few good bars up the hill to the castle. The way back to the campsite is then easy to find straight ahead and easy to find even after a few turns. Speaking of drinking: the biggest point of criticism is probably the youth groups, who, equipped with suitcase-sized Bluetooth boxes, sit in the dunes directly between the square and the sea from 10:30 p.m. onwards and listen to bad German pop, so loudly, until 2-4 a.m that everyone else has to listen. After a week, about half the place got excited and complained about it, but unfortunately nothing was done by the securities who were sneaking around. After the seventh, eighth, ninth night it gets to me and if I have the choice, I won't come back (because of the noise at night, which is also caused by the absolute narrowness of the place). Four stars because we had a great bungalow and the surroundings are beautiful.
