Very happily surprised that this little hole in the wall can pack in so much love and attention with every dish. We went to a pub for a few drinks and left with a absolutely incredibly food that would easily give NYC’s Indian row a run for its money Meal type: Dinner Recommended dishes: Mixed Achaar, Aloo Gobi, Mamma's Butter Chicken

Inconspicuous from the outside but a real little gem nice service and super delicious food. Ambiance is certainly a matter of taste (small, more like a snack bar with 2 tables and a few stools) but I really liked it! A small Indian restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik serving some delicious Indian food. After days of having crepes and sandwiches we wanted something more interesting when we came across this. We ordered a portion of Chole. It came with rice and a naan. You can either sit at Mama Rama or hop next door to Aegir brew pub (they have a shared kitchen) and they will bring you food there while you enjoy a locally brewed beer.
