Great views of the sea. The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious to share over some very nice wine. Prices very reasonable Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Sadly, today we had an awful experience. Firstly, we waited for 1lt of wine for 30min, after that we finally ordered food for which we waited 1h15min (the waiter mentioned it would be around 30-40min). We ordered 2 types of pasta (Carbonara and something like ravioli). The bacon in Carbonara was awful (really fat and disgusting) - something you can buy in shop. The other pasta was no better. Also we ordered grilled Octopus in garlic sauce which was just awful and horrible (not done and looked like somebody already ate it). Than there was a steak which was cold, not medium done. The side dishes I do not even want to mention it (sooo small). In words - just don’t go there, it is definitely not worth the amount of money spent and it will just ruin your stay in Sardine. The only positive thing was the waiter that tried to make our diner nice and solve the problem, but it did not really work out. Siamo stati ben 3 volte a cena in questo ristorante.
La prima volta è stata una scoperta, la seconda una conferma e dato che, non c'è 2 senza 3, ci siamo ritornati, Marco il proprietario e tutto il suo staff sono stati gentili e accoglienti, il cibo superlativo e abbondante. abbiamo provato tanti piatti tipici sardi ( culurgiones, malloreddus, proceddu, seadas) poi la paella algherese e frittura di mare. Tutto squisito, (complimenti agli addetti in cucina) pesce fresco e molto ben cucinato, prezzi molto onesti. Consiglio a tutti di andare al Mama Mea, noi se torneremo ad Alghero sarà sempre la nostra prima scelta.
