The restaurant decor is beautiful and tasteful. However the food was a bit underwhelming. All the rice dishes we tried were heavily flavored with cardamom and cinnamon, making them taste more like baklava than rice. We also had to wait quite a while for the waiter to take our order, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Drinks were perfect. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Maison Inja in downtown Montreal for a special occasion, and it was the perfect choice. The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautifully thought-out decor that makes the experience feel extra special. The owner and the wait staff were warm, attentive, and always smiling, which added a personal touch to the evening. The food was exceptional—Persian fusion with bold, delicious flavors. I tried the Lubia Polo Tachin and Eggplant & Chicken Tachin, and both dishes were outstanding. The Persian tea and dessert were the perfect way to end the meal. The attention to detail in every aspect of the experience really stood out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food in a charming setting. I’ll definitely be going back! The food was really amazing. Called with almost no notice and they found a way to accommodate us. The decor has a mid century, Iranian aesthetic that is really nostalgic. The different variations of tahchin was really great. I brought my non-Iranian friends to introduce them to Persian cuisine and they were blown away! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
