Ресторан MARANI деликатно вписался в общий интерьер отеля Lotte Hotel Samara.
We just came for dinner. All the food turned out to be tasteless. The dessert promised custard, but in the end it was not custard at all. And when I asked where the custard was, they answered that in their opinion it was custard, although according to the recipe it was not custard. But the most interesting thing awaited us at the end. They asked for an invoice and paid. When we decided to look at the check, we discovered that we had been shortchanged. We waited for the waiter to tell us about this, but she never arrived. We approached the girl at the reception, asked to invite a manager or administrator, she walked away, telling us to wait a couple of minutes, but in the end: no girl, no administrator. They didn't wait any longer, they just left. After such unceremonious treatment of visitors, there is no desire to visit this restaurant. And I won’t recommend it to anyone. And if you visit this restaurant, check your receipt before paying. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Apparently, I just have no luck with Georgian restaurants, unfortunately. And there’s really nothing to criticize Marani for - the food here is relatively tasty, the interior is stylish, and the service is flawless. But there are some not-so-pleasant nuances. For example, even hotel guests, to which the restaurant actually belongs, are not allowed to wear informal shoes such as slippers. The composition and presentation of the dishes is also very original - along with the lobio, for example, they brought a collection of clean empty plates (almost the same with the chanakhi); The meat medallions are complemented by completely bland, dry, uninteresting rice. The most puzzling thing is the canakhi, in which the pieces of both meat and vegetables are of such a size that eating them directly from the pot is, frankly speaking, difficult (like a watermelon grown in a three-liter jar)))) In general, the restaurant is outwardly very pretentious - and for good reason - but most of its reputation “grows” not so much from its quality as from its proximity to an expensive chain hotel...
