Visited for a birthday with a group of 9. I disclosed my nut allergy when ordering, yet was served a dessert containing walnuts with no allergen disclosureI had a serious allergic reaction, had to call 911 myself, and staff provided no help — they tried to charge gratuity while I was outside in distress It took one entire hour for them to confirm the ingredient after giving different stories. No follow-up the next day. Completely unacceptable handling of allergies and customer safety. Hope I can help these guys in the future of their restaurant.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. Our server was made aware of a nut allergy but served my friend a cake with walnut in it. We were told that there are no nuts in the cake by multiple servers, as well as the owner. Staff lied to our table by assuring us that they contacted the supplier themselves to determine that there were no nuts in the product. This false information was relayed to the paramedic who was taking care of my friend in an ambulance, which resulted in the delay of administering treatment for a serious allergic reaction. It was later confirmed by staff that there were walnuts listed in the ingredient label but my friend was already on the way to the hospital. This establishment should not be serving food as they have no protocols in place to ensure the safety of their customers.

I went to Lula Lounge for my friend’s birthday dinner, and what should’ve been a fun celebration turned into a nightmare. When we arrived, they specifically asked if anyone had allergies, and we clearly communicated that my friend has a severe nut allergy. Despite this, they brought out a dessert that contained nuts and lied to us, assuring us it was nut-free. This negligence led to a terrifying medical emergency—we had to leave in an ambulance. Even worse, their dishonesty delayed our response in administering her EpiPen because we were led to believe the dessert was safe. Only after the fact, when we asked to see the ingredients, did we find out it explicitly listed “contains tree nuts”. Instead of showing any concern or responsibility, they continued to lie and even tried to charge us for the meal. There was no apology, no accountability—just deflection and disregard for a life-threatening situation they caused. This restaurant’s behavior was not only unprofessional—it was dangerous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you or someone you care about has allergies, stay far away.
