We order one steak and ale pie and one chicken and leek pie with mash potato and gravy. The pies were not a match on the ones we enjoyed last year, the contents were debatable and subject to much discussion as to which pie was which flavour. The mash was lumpy and watery, overall, a disappointing experience, not to be repeated. We get good compliments and repeat custom for our pies and mashed potato so to read this is very disappointing. Having personally tasted all of our pies, I am concerned that something else has gone wrong. I have spoken with every member of the front of house and kitchen team and understand your issue wasn’t raised during your visit which is disappointing as we could have investigated at the time and rectified the situation for you. Wow. The best coffee I've had in a year ! Delicious quiche and salad , wonderful service, reasonably priced. My new favourite place. Cakes looked great but I'm trying to lose the cyprus stone , so unfortunately will have to wait :). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

All I can say is WOW! We had Love Island Cakes make our wedding cake and favours for our wedding in June this year, and we couldn’t have been happier! I wish I could re-eat the cake and favours all over again! To start off the day, I ordered for me and my bridal party to eat when getting ready, a selection of finger sandwiches, fresh fruit platter and brownies/blondies. The taste and presentation of all of these were beautiful, you can really tell Jackie and her team put so much care into this! Then the cake WOW! The presentation of this cake was beautiful, fresh flowers on the top and then golden leaves to match our colour theme around the outside of the cake was honestly beautiful and again our vision brought to life we also had cookie favours for all of our guests, which our guests are still talking about now! The detail and taste of everything from Love Island Cakes really shows you how much care and love they put into all of their work! Thank you so much!
